| Product information | Brilliant blue FCF is a synthetic color compound that is mainly used as a blue colorant for processed foods, medicines, dietary supplements, and cosmetics. It is a blue powder and is soluble in water and glycerol. It can be mixed with tartrazine (E102) to produce various shades of green.
Examples cotton candy, ice cream, canned processed peas, soup packets, bottled food coloring, ice cream cones, blueberry flavored products, children’s medicines, dairy products, sweets, soft drinks and beverages. It is also used in soaps, shampoos, mouthwashes, and other hygiene and cosmetic products. |
